Poland, Republic. An Order of Polonia Restitua, Commander, c.1936 Auction The upper of the visor(Order Odrodzenia Polski). Instituted in 1921. Type I (1918 1939). In bronze gilt, a white enamelled Maltese cross with ball finials, the obverse centerpiece featuring a white eagle on a red field, encircled by a blue enamel ring inscribed POLONIA RESTITVTA, reverse plain bronze arms with silvered "1918" on the centerpiece, measuring 57. 7 mm (w) x 59. 2 mm (h), weighs 44. 4 grams including period original neck ribbon, intact enamels, light wear, in
