They have been referred to as the “Kew clones” since collection of Nepenthes rajah seed was done in collaboration with Kew Gardens who subsequently put them into tissue culture and distributed to nurseries around the world

We’ve grown it alongside all our other intermediate Nepenthes species and it seems to grow quite well

When they first open

we were doing quite a bit of travel when the seeds matured and didn’t harvest the seeds until the pods had already begun to crack

We’ve found these clones to be slow growers when young because they typically are slow to develop much of a root system until they hit 4" in diameter

Nepenthes 'Splendid Diana' x ventricosa red, CAR-0019 Cephalotus They have been referred toA Carnivero exclusive hybrid between N. (kampotiana x maxima) 'Splendid Diana' and ventricosa red. There are 3 large plants for sale in a community pot shown in the photos. This hybrid should be tolerant of a wide range of conditions but would do best on the warmer side.
