Thor was magnificent and handsome - truly the stuff of fairytales
It often doesn't not come off
could well have been made by a Navajo woman who had actually woven weaving blankets at an earlier age and carried the pattern forward to create a weaving that could be used as a rug
Her works are a blend of surrealism and Western art
It was this trust that offered me the chance of a ground-up perspective and that was key to the composition
