Yugoslavia, Socialist Republic. A Memorial Medal of the VIS, c. 1955 Hold Canadian Issue (SN-850918 JG VILLENEUVE)(Spomen Medalja VIS). Instituted in 1965 by Josip Broz Tito (c. 1955 issue). A circular medal constructed of silvered bronze, the obverse with a stylized picture of the island of Vis with a view of the Viskovo Harbour, circumscribed Vistvcrdava Revolucije Gdje je Tito tu Je Pobjeda (Vistvcrdava Revolution Where Tito is, there is Victory) in capitalized letters, the reverse plain but with a central banner inscribed Tude Necemo Svoje ne Damo (We wont go
